Conference Overview

The goal of the Twenty-second International Workshop on Automatic Performance Tuning (iWAPT2027)
is to bring together researchers who are investigating automated techniques for constructing
and/or adapting algorithms and software for high-performance on modern complex machine
architectures.

Topics of Interest

We are particularly interested in autotuning and its relationship to the following topic areas, among others. This year we are adding new topics at the intersection of HPC auto-tuning with AI, Energy-aware and Quantum Computing:

• Use of Generative AI for autotuning
• Autotuning with quantum computing technology
• Machine-adaptive algorithms
• Automatic program generation
• Performance analysis and modeling
• Adaptive numerical algorithms and libraries
• Multi- and manycore systems, heterogeneous architectures challenges
• Compilation strategies(e.g. iterative and empirical compilers)
• Programming models
• Runtime systems
• Empirical search heuristics
• Power- and/or energy-aware computing
• Hyper-parameter tuning for machine learning
